Terms, conditions and restrictions concerning the provision of aids

19. Terms, conditions and restrictions on the appli-cation of aids to investments and/or equipment leas-ing programs, repair, restoration and conversion of traditional or listed buildings into hotel facilities under instance (t) of para. 1, article 3.
In order for such buildings to be eligible for aids, they must have been designated either as listed by the Ministry of Culture or as traditional by the Ministry of Environment, Physical Planning and Public Works or the H.N.T.O., regardless of whether they are in a settlement designated as listed or traditional.
20. Terms, conditions and restrictions on the appli-cation of aids to investments and/or equipment leas-ing programs concerning complete modernisation of hotel or camping facilities, under instance (t) of para. 1, article 3.
(a) The aided amount of the investment and/or pro-gram may not exceed one and a half (1.5) billion drachmas in case of complete modernisation of hotel facilities and one hundred (100,000,000) million in case of complete modernisation of organised tourist camping facilities, even if the total amount incurred for the complete modernisation of the hotel or camping facilities, including any equipment leasing program, shall have been higher.
(b) Within the framework of aided expenses under instance (t) of para. 1, article 3, the categories, type and extent of works to be included in the hotel or camping facility modernisation, in order to be consid-ered complete and eligible for the aids herein, shall be stipulated by virtue of joint decisions of the Ministers of National Economy and Development.
21. Terms, conditions and restrictions on the appli-cation of aids to investments and/or equipment leas-ing programs concerning conference, ski, thalasso-therapy, health tourism, training-sports tourism cen-tres and spa facilities, under instance (t) of para. 1, ar-ticle 3.
The specifications to be met by the aforementioned centres and facilities are stipulated by virtue of joint decisions of the Ministers of National Economy and Environment, Physical Planning and Public Works. Applications seeking eligibility for aided investments and/or equipment leasing programs concerning the aforementioned centres and facilities must be accom-panied by approval of the H.N.T.O. for the fulfilment of specifications, as per case.
Training-sports tourism centres, in particular, may only be established by hotel undertakings within the framework of hotel operation improvement. Moreover, such centres may also be established by companies having hotel undertakings as partners or shareholders and operating hotel facilities. Equally, in this case the establishment of a training-sports tourism centre shall aim at upgrading and diversifying services rendered by the hotel facilities of partners or shareholders es-tablishing the centre.
22. Terms, conditions and restrictions on the appli-cation of aids to investments and/or equipment leas-ing programs concerning marinas and golf courts, un-der instance (t) of para. 1, article 3.
Applications seeking eligibility for aided investments and/or equipment leasing programs for marinas and golf courts must be accompanied by relevant approval of the General Secretariat for Marinas of the Ministry of Development or H.N.T.O. respectively for the es-tablishment, expansion or modernisation thereof, pur-suant to the legislation in force.
23. Terms, conditions and restrictions on the appli-cation of aids to investments and/or equipment leas-ing programs concerning therapy and rehabilitation centres, as well as facilities providing shelter and in-dependent living to disabled people, under instance (s) of para. 1, article 3.
Applications seeking eligibility for aided investments and/or equipment leasing programs for the above un-dertakings must be accompanied by approval of the Ministry of Health and Welfare required per case, ac-cording to the stipulations of articles 10 and 30 of Law 2072/1992 (Government Gazette 125 A'/1992) respec-tively.
24. Terms, conditions and restrictions on the appli-cation of investment grants concerning the establish-ment of public car parks under instance (m) of para. 1, article 3.
(a) Investments of such undertakings must concern the establishment of public indoor car parks.
(b) The suitability of the specific space and area where the car park is to be established shall have to be ensured with respect to parking requirements.
(c) The establishment and operation of a car park in the specific space must be compatible with the exist-ing or planned functions within the area of establish-ment.
