Article 3
Eligible business activities - aided expenditures

Aided expenditures:

(i). Expenditures for the purchase of computerisation systems, including the expenditures for the purchase of the necessary software and those for staff training at the installation stage.
(ii). Expenditures for the construction of warehouses and cold storage chambers, as well as for the pur-chase of warehouse equipment, and quality control in-struments and equipment, that shall be implemented by no less five SMEs of the commercial sector, with a cumulative turnover for the past three years, no greater than 5 billion drachmas.
s. Therapy and rehabilitation centres, as defined by virtue of article 10, Law 2072/1992, and undertakings concerning providing shelter, independent living to disabled people, according to article 30 of the same law.

Aided expenditures:

(i). The construction, expansion and modernisation of building facilities, special or auxiliary, as well as expenditures for the landscaping of the surrounding area.
(ii). The purchase and installation of new modern machinery and other equipment. The payments under the lease of new modern machinery and other equip-ment.
(iii). The purchase and installation of new systems for the process automation and computerisation, in-cluding the expenditure for the purchase of the neces-sary software.
(iv). The purchase of new means of transportation for the mass transportation of personnel, as well as of people living in centres or participating in the therapy and rehabilitation programs.
t. Tourist undertakings
This category includes the following tourist activi-ties:

  • The establishment or expansion of hotel facilities operating under a class not lower than B.
  • The complete modernisation of operating hotel fa-cilities, under a class lower than C.
  • The complete modernisation of operating hotel fa-cilities, under a class lower than C, in buildings desig-nated as listed or traditional, if, through modernisa-tion, they can be upgraded to at least C class.
  • The conversion of traditional or listed buildings into hotel facilities operating under a class not lower than C.
  • The complete modernisation of operating camping facilities, under a class not lower than C.
  • The establishment, expansion, modernisation of conference centres.
  • The establishment, expansion, modernisation of ski centres.
  • The establishment, expansion, operation moderni-sation of spa facilities.
  • The establishment, expansion, modernisation of marinas.
  • The establishment, expansion, modernisation of golf courses.
  • The establishment, expansion, modernisation of thalassotherapy centres.
  • The establishment, expansion, modernisation of health tourism centres.
  • The establishment, expansion, modernisation of centres for training-sports tourism, created exclusively by companies operating hotel facilities, and by com-panies whose partners shall exclusively be companies operating hotel facilities.
